And I also have a question dealing with the OE-30's. I mentioned in a different Thread that a Semi Pro player I know in St. Louis has been using the OE-30's for a few years and loves them. He has some 'high end' guitars, but said the Delta King's play and sound great, and he doesn't have to worry about them getting dings or dents (or having other accidents) during his performances. I've been reading about these being produced in China, but apparently they are also made in Korea???? It's all too confusing. I believe the CH in 'OE 30 CH' on the label means that it is made in China.

I've only played one and I don't remember it having a 'Made in ___' sticker anywhere on it, but it was my understanding that they were all made in China. Hey OFG, the guitar player/vocalist for Life and Times (which is a great band, by the way) plays one as his main guitar on stage with the stock pickups. Sounds pretty good, actually.
Gritty tone and you don't have to worry about messing up the guitar on stage because it's so cheap. And I don't know about that headstock picture that you posted with the MIK sticker. That doesn't look like the same one that is on the OE 30s. Originally posted by OldFenderGuy Interesting.

2 different guitars there IIRC my OE20 was MIK, got it around 2000 - I think they've bounced around between factories since then got an OE40 in 2005 that was definitely Chinese made, and overall a better quality guitar, but not as much fun to play - sold the 40, kept the 20. Originally posted by OldFenderGuy I don't know, but I guess if they have quality construction and are good players it doesn't matter if they were made in Corona, Nashville, or Lower Mongolia. Exactly, if all things are equal these get mixed reviews - don't know if it has to do more with differing quality between batches or the unrealistic expectations of some people all I know is my OE20 has one of the best playing, most comfortable necks I've ever played, and most everyone who has played it thinks it is pretty impressive, too took me a long time to find a pickup I really liked in it, though. I got a used one that had been seriously moded in-shop for 300, and it had the delta king thing on it, as well as the logo. I know that the price is weird, but IT'S AWEASOME.
