Maxwell Render Cinema 4d Studio R18

понедельник 12 ноября admin 84

Hey there Could someone point me in the right direction with using Maxwell Render. I have just downloaded the demo version and have put the C4D plugin into the plugins folder. I also have a completely separate application that is Maxwell Render (I thought it was all done still in C4D). Within C4D I can see nothing Maxwell related at all. I have looked at a tutorial which says to add some sort of maxwell tag to objects, but I don't know where that is supposed to be.

I also have a patch that was on the same download page that I was instructed to get too. But what do I do with the patch? Cheers Morph EDIT: Looking at the user guide I can see where I am supposed to be able to use Maxwell, but the plugin doesn't seem to be loading. I always use Maxwell (MX) lights and sometimes I also add some HDR for the enviroment. Maxwell actually don't have it's own lights, just the 'emitter material' (MX material).

Any object that has the MX emitter material will become a light source. If you use C4D lights then Maxwell will convert them to objects (an Area light to a plane, an omni to a sphere and a spot light to a cone shaped object). If you use C4D lights then you'll have to enable the MultiLight-feature so that you can set the intensity of the lights while you render.

Cinema 4D Studio R20 - Complete Cinema 4D suite including all features from Broadcast, Visualise & Prime. Advanced modelling & texturing tools, enhanced rendering, unlimited render nodes.

Visit the Maxwell gallery:. There you can download and study how different materials are built. The MX materials was (and still is) the hardest part to learn, I think, since they're so different from what I'm used to in C4D.

Let me know and I'll try to help.
