Lajanje na Zvezde (Barking at the Stars) is a Serbian comedy about a class of high school teenagers and their adventures during the final days leading to graduation. The movie is a flashback to the memories of Mihajlo and Danica and the time they had in the 60's as high school seniors in the days leading to their graduation. Mihajlo is vying for the affection of Danica, who at first does not seem interested in Mihajlo and rather prefers Mihajlo's brother. Although Mihajlo's and Danica's story is the centerpiece of the plot, there are several intersecting stories involving professors and other students from their class. In particular, I found very amusing the story of Gavrancic, a not so bright student who dreams of making it big in the boxing world, only for his dreams to get crushed after he's defeated in his first professional match. Despite that, he manages to win the affections of the girl he likes and he's one of the funnies characters in the film.
